Back in the days when Doc sailed the seas, he happened upon the curious people known as the Cecaelia, octopus-like merfolk. It is fair to say that eventually, the Cecaelia of Anturias came to despise the good Doctor. The reason is revealed in the still existent bounty on Doc's head for the number of his offspring that now inhabit their villages and the broken hearts of a number of Cecaelian ladies.
