When William Bessany-Hyde begged Doc to cure an extreme case of narcolepsy, neither he nor Doc had an inkling that Mr. Bessany-Hyde’s dreams would be the cause of the nightmarish creatures haunting the gaslit streets of Queensgate. Nor could they perceive that Doc’s experimental treatment would come to haunt the good people of Queensgate for generations to come.
