When the Veil was lifted, there were a rash of domestic murders. Such was the sad tale of Mr. and Mrs. Hirsh of West Ninth, Queensgate. At that pivotal moment in history, Mrs. Hirsh in a frightful panic that her husband had been replaced by a Werestag, picked up an axe and set upon her poor husband. Thus ending his innocent life. Unfortunately, this was a common occurrence throughout the world.
